Check in will not be allowed without it. To ensure the safety of everybody at the resort, we have to adhere to strict protocols under level 3 lockdown. • Designated members of staff will be appointed to act as pristine officers, coordinating, and enforcing all COVID -19 protocols – The motor gates will be operated by a pristine officer, throughout the day at each motor-gate, (06h00 – 21h00) taking the temperature of every individual before being allowed to enter the property. Each guest will need to present their ‘Perna Guest pass’ every time they exit and re-enter the property. The resort gates close at 21h00 due to curfew - • Pool is open BUT with conditions. Strict social distancing and wearing of masks all the time unless you inside the pool • The number of occupants may not exceed 6 people, including children of all ages and sizes. • Guests must bring all their own toiletries, cleaning products, extra bath TOWELS and beach towels, food stuffs and beverages, Daily cleaning of units will not be available and no towels and linen changes will be done during your stay . Ensure all the pre arrival documentation is done before you come to the resort to allow a swift check in – you will no longer need to report to reception – our reception area is too confined and allows 1 person at a time at the reception desk. Upon arrival you will be sent straight to your Unit if all your pre-arrival doc’s have been sent by Wednesday 10h00. Please note the following: • The resort gates close at 21h00 • The number of occupants may not exceed 6 people, including children of all ages and sizes. • The resort is a NON SMOKING property. • Guests must bring all their own toiletries and beach towels. • The Resort supplies 6 bath towels per unit, you may bring extra bath towels as we don’t change the bath towels during your stay. • Daily cleaning of units will not be available. The resort supplies dish washing liquid, Mop, broom, dust pan, dust pan brush, dish cloths – any other cleaning products you may need you may bring along) The resort offers you a mini service for the full week guests – this mini service takes place on a Tuesday – out of the 48 full week guests only 4% have used the mini service – majority decline the mini service as they are cautious. Noise Alert: The resort Next door ‘Dolphin View Cabanas’ are painting – 10/05/2021 to 31/07/2021 – guests in Perna 4 Southern Units and Perna 2 Northern Units may be affected Mon – Fri 08:00 – 17:00 – NOT over weekends. The service of the unit does not take place during your stay – this is not because we don’t want to – this is due to prescribed protocols: • The units get deep cleaned and fogged with a MIST twice before you check in. • All the touch points on the resort – this is outside your unit – staircases, hand rails, floors, doorknobs/handles, lifts, pool area, games room, public toilets and guest laundries get sanitized every hour, for 8 hours a day 7 days a week – this is Prescribed Protocol by the department of health, to keep you and your family safe outside your unit - Resorts with Free standing Units that are not connected with staircases, passages, lifts and foyers don’t have to comply with this Protocol. Every gate on the resort gets controlled – access control 06h00 – 21h00 everyday. • The resort has 23 cleaners that used to service the units daily – Pre COVID - The cleaners are currently working as: Touch point staff: 10, and Access control staff : 10. • This leaves 3 cleaners that are currently Garbage collectors Mondays to Saturdays – to assist guests; The friendly garbage collector will knock on the door between 09h00 – 12h00 to collect your black bag with your garbage. She will also give you a new black bag. if you need Toilet paper please inform her, and she will bring it to you later in the day. This is to limit your touch points – keeping you and your family safe – • If we don’t comply with the protocols we are not allowed to operate.
